How the Commission Process Works

Step One: Choose a style you like

Click on the above images to read sales information.

Step Two: Select a high-res photograph for reference

Images should be of a high resolution, of sharp and clear quality and

well-lit.

Try to avoid photos with obstructive objects to the face, or any cropping of the head.

(with exception to commission style 1)

Choose an image suitable to the commission style of choice. Keep in mind that each drawing is for one face only.

Step Three: Contact me with your preferences

Be as detailed as possible.

Thanks! Message sent. I will be in touch within 48 hours about your photo selection and a quote.

Form not working? You can email me directly at tinypencilportraits@gmail.com

Reminder for customers outside of New Zealand: shipping costs are higher for tracked international shipping. A high quality digital resolution of your sketch can be emailed to you instead, at no extra cost. For more information about this, please contact me.

Step Four: Correspondence via email

The remainder of the service will be through friendly email correspondence.

During this process, we will discuss:

  • The appropriate photo for the selected commission style

  • Any amended prices for special requests or multiple orders

  • An estimated time of dispatch

Until payment, you are not locked into sale and can change your mind, however I appreciate being notified if you do.

I will provide an update of the sketching process so that you can offer any critiques before your commission is mailed. However, out of respect for my time, please communicate your desires early so that no significant changes need to be made that may require me to restart the artwork. I cannot accept returns and/or refunds after the artwork has been commissioned and paid for.

I endeavour to make your service as efficient and as possible, but please note that I may have multiple clients at one time and may only be able to respond within 24-48 hours.

Please see the terms and conditions as listed on the product pages with regards to returns/refunds and shipping.

Step Five: Payment and completion

Commissions will be started upon payment being received.

I accept Direct NZ Bank Deposits, Gift Vouchers, and Pay Pal.
